Beat (ビート, Biito) is a 17 yr old Rudie living in Tokyo-to as a member and founder of the GG'southward. He is a playable character and overall protagonist in the Jet Set Radio series, as well as the games mascot.
Appearance
Shell wears an orangish shirt bearing the katakana of his name (ビート), blackness/bluish long pants, sunglasses(or goggles) with neon dark-green lenses that appear to accept audio waves going through them, black fingerless gloves, and big greyness headphones. Beat's Superstar motion has Combo grind on the internet of the tennis courtroom while spray painting on the opponent's side. The paint trips up Beat's opponent, and distracts them from the game.
Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity

However, in Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed, he has switched back to his original Jet Prepare Radio costume.
