How To Set Cook Time On Kenmore Oven

Hello:

I have an old Kenmore wall gas oven/with bottom broiler with an analog clock that has flip numbers. Has Start Time and Stop Fourth dimension stems and also a stem that y'all pull out to set the fourth dimension with. Everytime my wife uses the oven. (She doesn't employ timed cooking), I can't get the clock to beginning working over again (Information technology but stays at what ever time I set it at). All trial and mistake because we never had the manual when we moved in the house in 1998. Oven says Pilot-Free Ignition on top. The oven is about 20 years old. I could not find a Model # on the oven. Please provide correct procedure to reset clock then that the time in one case once more works. Much appreciated.

Hi Bruce,

Whats the model# of your wall oven?

Its likely going to need a new clock assembly, and some of these older models come up with a retrofit digital clock now.

Kenmore Analog Clock

Thanks for the quick response Jake. Hither's the info you needed:

MODEL # 2783248296 Serial # 6H13971

I have had this problem many times before and I accept been able to restart the analog flip clock in the past subsequently the oven had been used, only it takes much trial and error because I don't have a manual.

I just need the process. Like what position the Start and Stop stems need to be in. (The oven and broiler work fine)

Delight let me know if in that location's a procedure to use for the analog flip clock so I don't have to keep turning the fourth dimension set up stem, and pushing the Stop and Start stems in or out so waiting to see if the flip clock begins moving.

Ok Bruce,

I tried to locate that manual for you, merely I couldn't find it anywhere.

To tell y'all the truth, I haven't run into this analog flip clock in many years, and the ones I've had, the clock was dead and couldn't be reset, thats when I had to order a new one, and that came as a digital retrofit one which was a surprise to both me and my client.

Sorry, I'm afraid I can't help yous on this 1, but hopefully another tech. or member tin can.
